The Controller: MODULO SRL, via its Site, uses cookies.
Cookies help us provide the services available on this site. This internet site also uses profiling cookies and third-party cookies. By continuing to browse this site, or by accessing any of the page elements therein, you consent to the use of cookies.

What are cookies?
A cookie is a set of data that a website sends to your computer or device (usually your web browser) and which is then stored in order to be sent back to the site upon your next visit. The aforementioned data can also be stored on your computer using an anonymous tag that just identifies the computer but not the interested party. Some pages in this domain also use third-party cookies and other technologies in order to improve your navigation of the site and to perform profiling activities.

The nature of cookies
There are various types of cookie.

Technical cookies
Technical cookies are those used solely to "transmit messages over an electronic communication network or, to the extent strictly necessary to the provider of a company service, information explicitly requested by the subscriber or by the user in order to perform such a service" (see article 122(1) of the Code). They are not used for any other purpose and are usually installed directly by the Controller of this website.
They can be subdivided into:
- navigation or session cookies which guarantee a normal browsing experience and site operation, as well as the services available from it (allowing, for example, purchases to be made or authentication to be done for access to a reserved area);
- analytical cookies, similar to technical cookies in as much as they are used directly by the site Controller to collect information, in an aggregate form, on the number of users accessing the site and on what they do there;
- functional cookies, which allow the user to browse the site based on a series of selected criteria (for example, language, products selected for purchase) in order to improve the service provided.

Profiling cookies
Profiling cookies are designed to create profiles of the interested party and are used to send advertising messages which are in line with the preferences expressed by the same interested party as they browse the web. Use of profiling cookies requires the interested party to grant his/her prior and informed consent, and this may be expressed by clicking the options “yes” or “no” in the following table.

Types of cookie
Cookies may be set on the interested party’s device by the operator of the same site that he/she is visiting (the publisher) or by an operator of a different site who sets cookies through the first (so-called third-party cookies).
In the event of third-party cookies, the site has no direct control over the individual cookies and cannot intervene on them (not being able to install them directly, nor delete them). The user may, though, manage these cookies through his/her browser settings by following the procedures indicated below in the Consent section.
For a description of the Google Analytics cookies, refer to the link to the third-party’s site.

Cookie duration
Regarding duration, cookies can be:
- temporary or based on a session (session cookies): these are used to store information temporarily, allowing the actions carried out during one single specific session to be connected. Once the browser is closed, these cookies are removed (deleted) from the user’s computer;
- permanent (persistent cookies): these are used to store information, for example, a user's name and password, so that the user does not have to enter these every time that he/she visits a specific site. These cookies remain stored on the computer even after the browser is closed.
